What Makes Attorney Joshua M. Martin Uniquely Qualified To Represent You?

Joshua M. Martin is the founder of Citizens Law Group and heads the firm’s litigation, real estate and immigration practice areas. After beginning his career representing corporate and high net worth individuals, he has shifted his focus to representing consumers in real estate and litigation matters. Since starting Citizens Law Group in 2011, Joshua has exponentially grown the firm to become one of the largest and most effective firms that represent distressed homeowners in the country.

Joshua has distinguished himself as one of the most effective short sale and modification negotiators, having represented thousands of distressed homeowners over the past several years. In addition to assisting homeowners in foreclosure to save their home, Joshua has also successfully negotiated with lenders to reduce his clients’ monthly mortgage payments and principal balances due on the mortgage.

Additionally, for those homeowners who do not wish to retain their property, Mr. Martin has negotiated hundreds of short sales that allow his clients to make a distinguished exit from their property without having personal liability for the debt.

In addition to his real estate work, Joshua is a tenacious and talented litigator who has secured millions of dollars in judgments on behalf of his clients over the past decade. While Joshua began his career litigating for the Goliaths of the world, he has shifted his focus to represent the every day consumer against the powerful banks and corporations who have seemingly limitless resources. In spite of these challenges Joshua has consistently fought for the little guy.

Mr. Martin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and is a 2004 graduate of the Fordham University School of Law.
